On February 8, 2010 Joanna Kuebler will join the Global Campaign for Education, US Chapter (GCE-US) as its director. She brings to GCE-US more than a decade of experience in public service. Prior to joining GCE-US, Kuebler was the communications director for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown. She served as the communications director for Brown’s successful 2006 Senate Campaign and was his press secretary in the House of Representatives.  Her career in public service began in the Pennsylvania General Assembly. A native of Los Angeles, California, Kuebler is a graduate of Millersville University in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
