Yesterday, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) introduced the Education for All Act of 2010. “Too many children across the world have no access to even the most basic education,” Senator Gillibrand said. “This legislation…lays the foundation for a stronger, more stable global economy.”

Millennium Development Goals - Add Your Voice!
Next week, world leaders will gather in New York to measure progress toward the Millennium Development Goals. President Obama has committed to producing a plan for each of the eight MDGs, including MDG#2 – achieving universal primary education by 2015.
You can speak out for the 72 million children denied access to quality basic education by clicking here to sign this petition, calling on the President to announce his support for a Global Fund for Education as part of his plan for MDG#2.
