Support Education for All during the 2010 World Cup
The 2010 FIFA World Cup kicks off Friday, June 11, and there’s no better time to show your support for Education for All. Here are a few ways you can show your support for education for 72 million out of school children:
1. Attend or Organize a 1GOAL World Cup Watch Party

If you live in the DC area, the DC United soccer team is organizing watch parties for the US-England game on Saturday, June 12 at the following locations:

2. Text for Education
Sign up for the 1GOAL: Education for All campaign by texting “1GOAL” to 20583. Customers are charged a standard text messaging rate.

3. Sign a Yellow Card for Education
World leaders will gather at an education summit in Cape Town on July 7. You can show your support for Education for All by adding your own message to a yellow card, which will be hand delivered to world leaders at the summit. To personalize your own yellow card, click here.
World Cup Kick-Off Concert
In the United States, ABC will broadcast the World Cup Kick-Off Concert on June 10. The concert will feature Education for All supporter and singer Shakira, who will sing a song written for the World Cup, as well as the Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, John Legend, and many more.
