As part of the Reading Room Program, you can establish a library within an existing room in a school in any of the seven countries in which Room to Read works. Each of these libraries serves hundreds of students annually and includes as many as 300-1,000 local language and English language books (depending on the size of the room).

Your sponsorship funds the creation of a child-friendly learning environment that includes:

• books
• furniture
• games
• puzzles
• posters
• librarian training and
• three years of support from Room to Read.

Your name will also appear on a shared plaque in a library in the country to which you donate.

By donating to this project, here’s what you will support:

• $3,000: Total cost for creating a reading room within an existing school in Cambodia, India, Laos, Nepal, Sri Lanka, South Africa or Vietnam.

You don’t have to build a reading room yourself! By pulling our resources together, we can create reading rooms in schools around the world, one donation at a time.
